Tom's of Maine Sensitive Maximum Strength (Soothing Mint)

Tom's of Maine

  • Bringing out the big guns to combat sensitive teeth.

    Product Breakdown

The philosophy behind Tom’s of Maine products is simple: use the very best of natural products on your body and do good for the environment in the process.

Unlike other brands of toothpastes that rely on heavily engineered ingredients that are 15 syllables long, Tom’s of Maine uses natural ingredients that you can actually recognize.

Tom's of Maine's Maximum Strength uses potassium nitrate as the anti-sensitivity ingredient, similar to other major toothpaste brands. However, instead of using synthetic potassium nitrate, Tom’s of Maine found a way to derive it from naturally occurring nitrate ore. Consider your sensitive teeth relieved!

  • Editor's Note

This toothpaste uses the maximum allowable strength of potassium nitrate to handle your tooth sensitivity. Consider your tooth sensitivity in good hands.

  • How it Works

Sodium monofluorophosphate is the active ingredient responsible for preventing cavities and decay from forming. This ingredient was sourced from calcium fluoride, an ore.

Calcium carbonate and hydrated silica are abrasives that helps remove surface stains off your teeth.

    How to Use

Starting from the end of the tube, squeeze a pea-size amount onto your toothbrush. Then, add a little water and get brushing.
