  • Over time, wine, soft drinks, and acidic foods will wear down your teeth. Sensodyne ProNamel will not let that happen.

    Product Breakdown

Sensodyne does one thing, and does it exceptionally well: it formulates toothpastes that that deliver fast-acting agents to help relieve teeth of their sensitivity. In fact, this is the leading recommended brand by dentists when it comes to dealing with sensitive teeth.

Sensodyne ProNamel Gentle Whitening toothpaste was formulated with 3 goals in mind: protect against acid erosion, whiten teeth by removing stains, and prevent cavities from happening. Can a simple toothpaste achieve all of those lofty goals? In short,  Sensodyne ProNamel Gentle Whitening can.

The prime goal of this toothpaste is to protect your teeth from acid erosion. This is important because dentists are reporting a growing dental health concern from acid erosion due to changing modern diets. Even teeth without cavities can be affected! Acids in everyday food, like orange juice and wine, can dissolve minerals from teeth, softening the enamel surface (enamel being the visible tissue covering the crown of the tooth) which is then more easily worn away. As the enamel becomes thinner, teeth can become visibly less white, weaker and sensitive.

  • Editor's Note

With Sensodyne ProNamel Gentle Whitening you can have your cake (or wine, or OJ, or anything acidic really) and eat it too. Maintaining good oral health is essential, and this Sensodyne formula helps your achieve that, even if you have a fondness for all things acidic.

  • How it Works

Leave it to potassium nitrate, the formula’s most active ingredient to desensitize your teeth’s nerve endings and provide instant relief. In the mean time, sodium fluoride, the second most active ingredient in this formula, is helping prevent cavities from forming.

Hydrated silica is the abrasive cleaning agent responsible for removing stains covering your teeth.

    How to Use

Starting from the end of the tube, squeeze a pea-size amount onto your toothbrush. Then, add a little water and get brushing.
